- Progressive Approximation
Purposeful action is what most entrepreneurs need most. Business and life move too quickly to stop dead to analyze for too long. Purposeful action, or progressive approximation, requires that you diligently assemble and assess data AS you take best guess action. Any strategic plan or action plan that suggests that a specific result will be achieved is at best misleading. If the future was known, business wouldn’t be competitive. We must take action that gives us the best chance of achieving objectives, monitor those actions closely and make adjustments as necessary.
