THE ADVISORY PROCESS
At Hawthorne, we believe ongoing personal strategic planning to be fundamental to achieving your life’s (including business) goals and enhancing your quality of life. We also believe ongoing and proactive execution – delivered through advice that is personal, integrated, objective, competent and ethical – to be indispensable to caring for all aspects of your wealth. We help you craft a management approach for accumulation, protection, management, taxation, distribution and ultimate transfer of your wealth– for your well-being and for those you care about.

Our firm provides you with an integrated advisory service in which we:

  • Identify Decision making framework
  • Identify your business, financial, and personal objectives
  • Analyze and recommend strategies for attainment of your objectives
  • Develop a sound strategic program to help provide the resources needed to reach your goals
  • Provide ongoing advice, assistance with execution, and help you stay on track to achieve your objectives.

We start by meeting with you to identify your objectives, opportunities, and needs. We then help you develop a strategic approach to maximize the likelihood that achieve your objectives and minimize the risks that compromise their accomplishment. This approach serves as the basis for developing a solid decision making structure for all elements of your business success and personal wealth management.

  • Getting Started

As a first step in working with you, we will spend time with you in a fact-finding interview to provide us with sufficient information to conduct an accurate analysis. In this interview, we learn to know you: the significant influences and lessons in your life, your money role models, your personal values and philosophy, your hopes and dreams, successes and mistakes--your story.  This information is critically important to a truly personalized Total Wealth Management approach.  Also important is how you define success as well as what brings you meaning and fulfillment.
Next we identify business, personal, and personal objectives.  Develping these objectives first in qualitative, then in quantitative terms.
Then we learn the data of your existing situation.  We conduct a thorough fact-finding of your personal financial situation.  Finally we examine business strategy and financial data (if applicable).

  • Analysis

After we fully understand your situation and unique requirements we develop projections which answer questions that are most important to you; essentially, where you are relative to the objectives you have set and the things that are most important to you.

  • Developing an Approach

Together we develop an action plan or roadmap for achieving your objectives and life goals. It includes a comprehensive financial strategy with specific action items to address each of your needs and goals. It also includes a clearly articulated investment strategy and appropriate asset allocation for all of your assets. We help you track progress to see how you are doing in terms of meeting your action plan requirements.

  • Executing

Once your investment objectives and asset allocation are determined, we develop a portfolio consisting of carefully selected mutual funds designed to meet your objectives.

  • Monitoring Your Objectives

Moving forward, your investment plan and personal financial strategy will be as dynamic as your life. Changes will inevitably occur that will dictate changes in your action plan and investment strategy. We would like to meet with you at least once a year to review and update your financial goals.

  • Foundational Solutions- Financial Strategies
